Dr. Nip-Sakamoto was born and raised in Hawaii and has provided high quality, skillful and compassionate care to our island community for over 20 years. Her expertise in medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology is borne out of a commitment to the highest standard in comprehensive personalized care of a wide range of dermatologic conditions. She has special interests in skin cancer, acne, psoriasis, eczema, and skin care/cosmetic/anti-aging procedures. She offers a variety of services and products that are selected to achieve your individual health and wellness goals.

Dr. Miki Shirakawa Garcia was raised in both Oahu and California. She graduated from the John A. Burns School of Medicine and completed her dermatology residency at UC Davis in Sacramento. Dr. Shirakawa Garcia also spent time doing clinical research in autoimmune skin diseases at Stanford University’s Department of Dermatology. 

Dr. Shirakawa Garcia is an American Board of Dermatology board-certified dermatologist and also is an assistant clinical professor in the JABSOM Department of Medicine.

Most recently, she graduated from the Integrative Dermatology Certificate Program.

Dr. Summer Chong is a board-certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology. She has extensive knowledge in medical, cosmetic, and surgical dermatology with special interests in skin cancer prevention, psoriasis, eczema, acne, and aesthetic procedures. Dr. Chong is committed to providing the highest level of care for each of her patients so that they can achieve healthy, beautiful skin that they are happy and confident with.

Learn more about skin health and optimal skin care with our licensed Master Aesthetician, Terina Hoke. Terina was born and raised on the beautiful island of Oahu. Following graduation from Kapolei High School, she relocated to Utah in pursuit of specialized training and earned her Master Aesthetics license at the Skin Science Institute of Laser and Esthetics. In addition, she is a licensed phlebotomist, a skill that enhances her repertoire in newer advanced techniques. 

Having a passion for aesthetics and self-care, Terina will help customize and personalize a skin care regimen to complement a variety of procedures such as facials, chemical peels, dermaplaning, and microneedling. She has a special interest in laser technology and can facilitate a comprehensive program in consultation with your dermatologist. 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, coaching for Drill Team Hawaii (she was a dance team member for 12 years), traveling and being outdoors (with sunscreen!).
